Over the last several decades, Torq/Gards have been made under various names, including: Browning, Camco, Emerson, Ferguson, and Morse.

The Taper Grip Bushing (TGBU) is a tapered bushing that fits in the finished tapered bore, creating a final bore size of 3/4", 1", or 1.125" based on the model. This enables a more adaptable shaft-mounting solution. The bore presses around the shaft as the bushing is tightened and expands inward
